The OTTO Quarter is being realised with the innovative brand and utilisation concept BETTERWORX AT OTTO. The urban quarter in Wendlingen am Neckar offers future users and residents a balanced combination of culture, production and living in a cross-generational and community-oriented way. As part of the successive revitalization of the extensive former industrial site, modern offices, areas for retail, gastronomy and start-ups, hotels, apartments and places for young people to meet will be created.

Economy flights from Munich to Berlin

The particularly climate-friendly energy concept is based on a decentralized energy, water and mobility structure. Renewable energies include solar energy and geothermal energy, which are to be harnessed with around 6,500 PV modules or from over 200 probes. Efforts are also being made to use waste heat from wastewater. In terms of CO₂ savings, we even manage to achieve a climate-positive balance – in other words, we avoid more CO₂ in the heating and cooling of the buildings than we cause. We offer the surplus green electricity we generate to third parties.
