Wohnen an der Strunde

In the wooded west of Bergisch Gladbach and thus in the immediate vicinity of the Cologne district of Thielenbruch, a new, diverse neighbourhood is being created on the derelict site of the former Wachendorff paper mill near the Strunde stream.
A harmonious composition of old and new is planned, combining the existing industrial charm with innovative modern architecture. In addition to attractive residential complexes and a boarding house, social facilities are planned, complemented by gastronomy and a parking garage.

The optional use of a combined heat and power plant, wood pellet or gas boiler is currently being examined.
